Friends and family of William Grant gathered on Monday to remember the firefighter. William Grant was killed this past week in a collision between the fire truck he was riding on and a school bus. Grant leaves behind a wife and three small children.

At least three other firefighters were injured in the accident and two of them remain hospitalized. The bus driver, who had a green light, was cited for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. The investigation into the cause of the accident continues. No lawsuit has been filed on behalf of William Grant at this time.
