Hal Pulfer was killed in a boating accident in Hawaii on Sunday. Pulfer was a business owner and lived with his family and three children in Highland Park. His business Security Locknut was based out of Mundelein, Illinois and manufactured nuts, bolts and washers. Pulfer was also the president of the company.

Pulfer's sister remembers him as living the perfect life. He was a great father with a wonderful wife and children. His business was growing. They were enjoying a relaxing vacation when tragedy struck.

This accident is indeed a tragedy, and it will certainly take time to put the pieces together and for investigators to determine exactly what went wrong that day when the boat sank.
