Worker Injured After Falling Into Hole

A worker fell into a hole at a construction site this afternoon and suffered back and neck injuries. The man was removed from a hole with a five foot opening by a harness and then transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. The accident took place near 8th Street and State Street in Chicago.

The worker may be able to file a claim against his employer and others responsible for the construction site to recover for the injuries he sustained in the accident. There is no additional information at this time regarding what caused the accident and who was responsible.
