At least 491 people have reported they became ill after attending the Taste of Chicago and eating food from the Pars Cove restaurant booth. The numbers have been steadily increasing since the outbreak first was announced last week. The health department believes that the outbreak is linked to the hummus Pars Cove was serving at the Taste of Chicago festival.

It has not been determined at this time whether the City of Chicago and/or Pars Cove is at fault for the contamination. If you or someone you know became ill after attending the Taste of Chicago contact an attorney immediately. You may be able to recover for medical expenses, lost time at work and other losses due to the salmonella.
