Two lawsuits have been filed in Chicago relating to the salmonella outbreak at the city's Taste of Chicago festival. The festival takes place every year at the end of June and lasts through 4th of July. At least 636 people have reported salmonella infections as a result of eating at Pars Cove's booth.

Additional reports show that approximately 50 cases have been confirmed through lab testing and at least 17 people were hospitalized after eating the contaminated food at the Taste of Chicago. Anyone who fell ill after visiting the Taste of Chicago should contact an attorney immediately to learn what legal action they may be able to take.
