The number of reported illness and deaths of cats and dogs from contaminated Menu Foods, Inc. pet food are increasing as the days pass. A recall was originally issued on March 17, 2007 by the FDA about the contaminated food. There are approximately 51 brands of dog food and 40 brands of cat food that are affected by the recall. The contaminated food causes kidney failure in the animals and many have suffered severe illness and even death.
Pet owners across the country have had to watch their once energetic and full of life family members slowly deteriorate. The cats and dogs become lethargic and stop eating. Then they begin to go into kidney failure.
The illness of a pet should not be taken lightly. These pets are considered a family member and the families deserve answers. If your cat or dog has become ill or died after eating any of the recalled products, click to contact an attorney or fill out the form at right. You may have a right to recover against Menu Foods, Inc.

The reporting is absolutely outrageous! The alleged TEN deaths were 20% of some TEST ANIMALS! There is not one 'outside', real world death in that number! And almost a week has gone by since this story first broke, and almost THREE MONTHS since the company first started getting reports of the problem. And while I say THANK GOD this doesn't involve the poisoning of humans, the way the media is FAILING us suggests should something that did affect humans (or even a terrorist act) occur, we are in deep trouble! If you loose a loved animal, PLEASE sue the bastards to help prevent this sort of thing in the future!
