Mattel Inc. announced a recall of nearly 1 million of its Chinese manufactured toys after fear the toys may contain lead. The maker of popular Fisher Price toys including "Dora the Explorer" and several Sesame Street characters has recalled at least 83 types of toys. Two lawsuits have been filed in Chicago relating to the salmonella outbreak at the city's Taste of Chicago festival. Health officials stated that 636 people have reported becoming ill after they ate at the Pars Cove Persian Cuisine booth at the Taste of Chicago.
