A car accident in the West Loop in Chicago caused seven people to be taken to Chicago area hospitals Sunday evening. The accident involved two cars and took place at Jefferson Street and Polk Street. Two of the victims were reported in serious condition.

At this time there is no report of the cause of the crash or who was at fault. As the story develops further the seven people in the accident may be entitled to recovery for their injuries.
