Jodi Retzlaff was killed when a Toyota Highlander drifted into oncoming traffic and hit her vehicle. The Highlander caused Retzlaff to slam into a truck and then be broadsided by an SUV. After the accident she was airlifted to the hospital but died later from her injuries.Retzlaff was only 23 when she died on Wednesday at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

The accident occurred at Northwest Highway near School Street in Fox River Grove, Illinois. Thomas Dubnick was driving the Toyota Highlander that crashed into Retzlaff's vehicle. Dubnick and the driver of the SUV were injured but released from the hospital.
