Okay, John and Jamie allow me to ask a really dumb question. Why isn't there a cause of action if the advertising is misleading or false?

You are so very correct. It is sad that an effective cause of action does not exist for the blatant false advertising. To produce a Broadway show in order to obscure the dangers of your product is simply wrong and should be actionable. Smacks of a fraud in the inducement.

A comment on Giving Back - Nintendo Wii Finds a Home at Helping Hand Rehabilitation Center

This has really been a terrific program for all involved. The joy on the faces of the residents, clients and staff is worth the effort. The letters and notes of appreciation is gratifying. Not just here in Des Moines but all those IB members who have shared their stories about the Wii donations. My office will be donating another Wii in the not-too-distant future and would like to coordinate it with the rest of the IB participating firms. Great update Jamie!

Here's another case of a desecrated cemetery, this time in Queens NY, and about the lawsuit that someone has filed to try and force the cemetery and the synagogue that owns the cemetery to do the right thing and to return the money that the synagogue took from the cemetery trust funds.
A comment on FDA Announces Hydroxycut Recall

While there are products, including alcohol, that may cause liver damage, the difference here is that the consumers were not informed about the potential for liver damage. When a product is put on the market that can cause potential bodily harm, the consumer needs to be notified. The manufacturer's failure to notify the consumer of the serious bodily harm that may occur as a result of ingesting its product makes the manufacturer potentially liable for injuries consumers of Hydroxycut have suffered.
